Cause you just a friend and we're not supposed to
Then you gave me a glance, that shit got me close to you
Then we kissed, now where do we go to?
Thought it was just the henny, so we brushed it off
Till I fell asleep from your shoulder rubs
2:25 we were making love

Are we gonna be friends now with benefits?

As 2024 draws to a close, Nigerian duo Ajebo Hustlers wrap up the year with a fresh new single Ave Maria, featuring the super-gifted Victony. Produced by the talented Jaysnyths Beatz, the track brings together these three artists for a compelling collaboration that combines clever lyricism, melodic hooks, and a message that speaks to the realities of life, money, and ambition.

Ave Maria is a memorable track that expertly sees the chemistry between Ajebo Hustlers and Victony. The trio effortlessly complements each other, creating a smooth and cohesive sound. Known for their streetwise lyrics and playful delivery, Ajebo Hustlers bring their usual swagger to the song, while Victony’s signature emotive vocals add a layer of introspection. Together, they tell relatable and poignant stories, balancing catchy melodies with lyrics that resonate deeply with listeners.

One of the song’s standout lines, "Na money be the problem, money be the solution," captures one of the themes of the track, as the artists reflect on the dual nature of wealth. In a society where financial stability is both a dream and a burden, Ave Maria dives into the complexity of chasing success while dealing with its challenges. This theme is woven through the track’s lyrics, as each artist brings a personal perspective on money, struggle, and ambition.

The production by Jaysnyths Beatz is polished and layered, with Afrobeats rhythms that pulse under smooth, melodic instrumentation. The beat is both upbeat and laid-back, allowing the lyrics to take center stage while maintaining a danceable and infectious groove. The song’s vibe is celebratory yet introspective, making it the perfect tune for late-night gatherings, reflective moments, or simply vibing with friends.

Ajebo Hustlers and Victony’s seamless vocal interplay further enhances the track’s appeal, with each artist bringing their own flavour and energy. The blend of Ajebo Hustlers' streetwise, laid-back flow and Victony's soulful, melodic delivery creates a unique synergy, drawing listeners in with a sound that feels fresh and familiar.

Jeriq & Victony - Daily Bread Lyrics

Nobody hustle like me
Nobody badder than we
I no fit tell you my gist yunno
I no wan hear am for street
Abegi look my feet
I no dey wear size 3
Abeg look my jeans
See my pocket sardine

Make you call me baby girl
Make she come shake bum bum
If she do am well oh?
Slice am my daily bread
Oh go ahead
Go ahead

Make you call me my baby girl
Make she come shake bum bum
If she do am well oh?
Slice am my daily bread

Everybody knows I'm a verified hustler
I take anything gbasalu my future personal
Catholic boy saying confession to cardinal
Oluwa forgive this money turned me to a sinner
G since genesis big D energy
My therapist know I have a win mentality
Unbelievers fa na doubt mu ka pharisees
Kilometers I dey waka waka for the raba
Ejim my calculator apiko my comma comma
Obuna ife mna eme adilo Amasi gi biko waa ka okpa
Nwa aformuzina gbamu ife cho kita kita mga emelu gi ya bulu ya bakassi bia n'ebea

Adim busy
Hustle Is my policy
Live your life ndubuisi
Yemisi n'enyem isi
Ife the boy fulu melu ya odi ezigbo paranoid
Kupulum I go para till paragon
Make you call me baby girl
Make she come shake bum bum
If she do am well oh?
Slice am my daily bread
Oh go ahead
Go ahead

Make you call me my baby girl
Make she come shake bum bum
If she do am well oh? Slice am my daily bread
Maintain
Anyi N'ebuba we no dey complain
Igwe village adilo eme campaign
Abialom obodo oyibo to come play
Oga eme one day
Nwoke new power mga emeli ka undertaker
Like Odumeje I never use my abidoshaker
I'm a master in this p my shawty a masterpeice
